The format for each line, which represent hourly averages, is: year, julian day, time, soil temp at 3.8cm depth, soil temp at 7.6cm, soil temp at 16.5cm, soil temp at 21.6cm, soil temp at 31.8cm, soil temp at 62.2cm, julian day, time, air temp above canopy. All temps are in degrees C.
The duplication of day and time is due to retrieving data from two dataloggers with different methods of denoting midnight.
There are some hours with missing or invalid data that have been given 'dummy', out of range, values as place holders. These are for soil temps day 147, time 1200 and 1300, and for air temps days 173 through 176,several hours.
